Brilliant Quick Little Bulk Oxygen Brightener Hack

Like any other mere mortal, my life is imperfect including how my mugs look most of the time. Back in the day, I would put bleach (bleach!!!) in them to get the stains out. It worked very well but obviously that isn't an option anymore.

I started purchasing Oxygen Brightener from my bulk store as an alternative to bleach for my laundry. I would use it with my sustainable stain stick (it's coconut oil based, similar to this one) when needed and it works wonders on getting most stains out. But I recently learned about this new hack: you can use Oxygen Brightener on your grubby dishes- like my tea-stained mugs.

I waited until they were extra filthy. I filled the sink up with hot water and put in about five tablespoons of Oxygen Brightener. I went to bed and let my mugs and French Press soak overnight. When I woke up the next morning all of the stains were gone. Pretty incredible and such an easy way to clean!
